- Debra R., Cheyboygan, MIAbout Minagin - Natural Pain Relief Topical Salve / Ointment
Minagin (Min-again) was created by Ojibwa people thousands of years ago as the original natural topical pain reliever for the Great Lakes Area. A legendary natural pain relief salve among the Ojibwe (Chippewa) and area tribes. Most pain sufferers have never experienced this kind of natural pain relief. Most pain relief takes place within 10 minutes and can last for several hours (5-10 times longer than arnica). In Ojibwe Minagin means “to rub on.”
Ingredients
100% certified organic & wild harvested ingredients including balm of gilead, Calendula flowers, st. john's wort in a base of beeswax and extra virgin olive oil.
Minagin's signature ingredient is Balm of Gilead buds which contains Salicylate precursors, which are related to aspirin and share its properties as an anti-inflammatory, Antipyretic and analgesic. If you are sensitive to aspirin, you should not use Minagin. Concentrated for external use only.
Scent
All customers who smell it love the sweet smell which is unexpected from a topical pain reliever. Herbal Lodge Owner Nathan Wright calls it the sweet smell of spring because it reminds him of the sweet smell found by lakes and rivers in the spring time coming from the budding area trees in Northern Michigan!
How To Use
Apply daily 3-5 times or as needed generously. Rub in 20-30 seconds. For sore joints rub around entire joint. Let it soak in (5 min.) before wearing clothes.
